The CX (Copper alloy eXpanding) bullet offered by Hornady represents the most advanced monolithic hunting bullet available today. Its optimized design offers long range performance, increased accuracy, high weight retention, and deep penetration. One-piece copper alloy will not come apart and delivers devastating terminal performance, deep penetration, and 95% weight retention. The grooves along the side of the CX bullet maximize aerodynamic performance while significantly reducing bearing surface and fouling. The CX bullet gives shooters and hunters the perfect option for everything from medium to large sized game.

This bullet does NOT feature a Heat Shield Tip.
