Midsouth offers the 45-70 Gov't 250 Grain FTX LEVERevolution in a 20 Round box. LEVERevolution ammunition is specifically designed for tubular magazine firearms. Hornady invented the FTX (Flex Tip eXpanding) bullets and loaded them into the 45-70 to give the shooter the advantages of a tapered style bullet. The 45-70 Govt has a higher ballistic coefficient and delivers dramatically flatter trajectories for excellent downrange energy and good bullet expansion at all ranges.

Constructed of a copper alloy, MonoFlex® bullets will never separate, and when recovered, retain 95+% of their original weight. Deep penetration. High weight retention. Unbeatable power. In handguns, hollow point bullets typically deliver good performance at modest velocities, but expand too quickly and sacrifice penetration at higher velocities. Hornady® Flex Tip® technology allows the bullet to expand reliably from 800 to 2000+ fps.
