Product Overview:

This easy to use ammo measurement system gives you the data you need to refine your case sizing and bullet seating operations.

This complete kit includes one Datum Dial tool for checking cartridge cases, Bullet & Cartridge dials for use with 17 cal, 204, 224, 243, 257, 264, 277, 284, 308, and 338 bullets, laminated chart showing common datum diameters, instructions, and storage box. Your caliper is all that's required!

The Forster Ammunition Measurement System provides a relative measurement between the base of a case to a datum point on its shoulder angle. You can also measure from your Cartridge Base to the Ogive of your Bullets for a more consistent seating depth measurement.

Case measurements are best done before sizing operations to find the optimal headspace for your firearm, as well as after sizing operations to check the setup and consistency of your reloading process. Bullet measurements will help dial in your exact Cartridge Base to Ogive and give a more consistent reading than an Overall Length measurement, due to varying lengths of bullet tips.
