1851 Wildcard Black Powder Revolver 36 Caliber Steel Frame Stag Grips 7.5 Inch Octagonal Barrel
by TRADITIONS PERFORMANCE FIREARMS
Product Overview:
The 1851 Wildcard Black Powder Revolver in 36 Caliber with Steel Frame, Simulated Stag Grips, and 7.5 Inch Barrel was distinguished by its octagon barrel and lever style loader. The 1851 helped to begin both the expansion of the West and the Civil War. Its high capacity of the times allowed for several rounds per minute to be fired before having to reload. Though revolvers were typically issued to officers or mounted soldiers, some were purchased privately or found on the battlefield. The 1851 Navy is considered to be one of Doc Holliday's favorite handguns and this Wildcard model is loosely based on Holliday being deemed the Gambler and his love of poker, thus a set of playing cards are engraved on the back strap.
