I am the 22lr chairman for the club I'm in here in Tennessee. This and other items were bought for a door prize shooter appreciation day giveaway. The gentleman that won this told me it worked well after using it and is happy with it. I have one myself that I use to mount my scopes with and am happy with it.

One magnet attaches to the top scope turret. The other your receiver. You need a flat area on your receiver that has the same orientation as the magnet on the scope. The scope level tells you if your crosshair is perfectly level but only useful if you are sure the firearm is perfectly level also. Fortunately the bolt action rifle I was mounting on has a long picatinny rail on top and some of it was not covered by the scope mount because there was no other part of the receiver with the same orientation. Good for my ARs and even my T/C Venture. I have not looked at all of my older wood stocked bolt and autoloading rifles but fear some will not have a place that is perfectly flat so that scope and receiver levels have same orientatio. Otherwise no issues.

This leveling systems works well, but on my 7mm Rem Mag I was not able to get the chamber/bolt ramp level to seat correctly so I ended up just placing it on another part of the rifle to level my sight. I've had not issues with any of my other firearms and on some I've been able to place the flat part of the chamber level between the flat part of the base and scope to get a consistent level.

It works as intended. Some rifles don't have a flat area for the magnet to adhere to but I think it was designed to be used primarily on bolt actions and it has worked ok on the Rem. 700, 788, and the XP100. Leveling the cross hairs is easier with this tool.
