Well it's definitely gun oil, being the first time I've used it, only time will tell. But I personally don't find the smell to be bad, and it seems to be top quality oil.

Nice thin lubricant. Useful stuff. Good price buying in luquid versus spray or wipe on towelettes

I've used Barricade before the name changed! It does everything I want it do, like displace moisture on steel and lubricate. It also is a fairly good bore cleaner in a pinch. I always keep a cloth soaked in Barricade in a zip-lock in my gun box. Great stuff! Just remember to shake it up real good before using.
