I've been wet tumbling brass for many years, starting with 5 gallon buckets and now using a wet tumbler. Wet tumbling is so fast. Most loads don't need steel pins and cheap dish detergent is all that you'll need most of the time. The biggest waste is decapping first. I wash them with the prime...rs in. I washed three trays of brass last night, then set the Lyman timer for three hours. I decapped a few this morning to check for water in the pockets...none. Dry times are longer for brass that hasn't been deprimed, but the three hour timer on this unit should be long enough to solve that problem. It wored for me, anyway. Overall, I like the built-in timer, compact design and the trays, which, unlike my food dehydrator are spaced properly for brass!
It takes about 4 hours to dry a batch of about 400 rds of .223. The dryer operates as it should, however I see this ideally for someone that lives in an apartment or experiences inclement weather all the time. In my opinion drying a batch of brass on top of a stainless steel sheet under the sun, w...ill do the trick faster.

Excellent case dryer! Even better pricing. Buying from them for years and they never disappoint. Great customer service!

Dryer works great. The lid arrived warped, I would assume from the way that it was packaged orstored. Hopefully it will straighten out over time.

This is really works nice, after using an ultrasonic cleaner and rinsing your cases with distilled water. I used to lay all my wet cases on a towel, then hit them with a hair dryer, which was time consuming. Now I just put the wet cases in this Lyman dryer and set it for an hour and I can do other things instead of blow drying my cases by hand. Nice ! #sweepstakes
